Though I have now lived in Oregon 31 years, I am originally an Ohio native and as such - I retain a special attachment to it. Therefore, to cross the border today represented a psychological homecoming of sorts and it seemed to put an extra lift in my steps as I walked along. I am looking forward to visiting relatives and old friends as I traverse the Buckeye State. These pauses will provide both a welcomed relief and reconnection.
It felt good to be back.
They should put signs up in your home town. :)
