I made it. I crossed the Missouri River several hours ago and I'm now in Iowa. It felt good to walk across the bridge and into a new state. I went into the official "Iowa Welcome Center" and told them I wanted to be welcomed - they did it.

ReplyDeleteMy friend John just emailed me on Facebook and said that he's going to join HIS friend that is doing an across the country walk for the American Heart and American Stroke Associations. Thought that was an interesting coincidence! his tour is shorter than yours, and ends in DC on 10/10/10
